For over 50 years, the Keperra Quarry has formed a significant part of the local landscape. An application has been lodged to transform the site into a new community for Keperra. Once quarrying is complete, we are proposing to turn the site into a master-planned community for people to live, work and play. Approximately 65% of the site is proposed to remain as open space, as bushland, landscaped parks, active recreation and conservation reserves.
The Keperra Quarry rezoning proposal has been approved by Brisbane City Council. Thank you to those who provided input into the site’s concept during community consultation and public notification in late 2016 and early 2017.
Detailed design works are anticipate to begin in early 2018, and will be subject to further approvals from Council and relevant authorities. For sales enquiries, please contact Brookfield on 1800 330 702.

Brookfield undertook community consultation over the months of December 2016 and January 2017, and received a high level of feedback from the community. As a result, the proposal has changed to reduce the number of apartments, and increase the number of freestanding and attached homes. The footprint for the site has remained relatively unchanged. You can view the revised proposal and the community consultation feedback below.
The Community Survey held during the consultation period has now closed. Thankyou to those who participated in the survey. The results of the survey can be downloaded below.
