The Darling Island Apartments site is on the eastern edge of the Pyrmont peninsula and is bounded by water on three sides. Most apartments have views to the west, views north to the Harbour Bridge and panoramic city views to the east. It comprises three buildings – building one has 37 apartments, building two has 45 apartments and building three has 26 apartments – a total of 108 apartments, basement parking for 183 resident cars, a swimming pool, gymnasium, spa and sauna facilities.

The majority of apartments are ‘through-apartments’ allowing natural ventilation to flow across the apartment. Rooftop terraces are provided for the level five apartments in buildings two and three.

These two buildings are the first major buildings in Sydney to be extensively metal-clad.
